Job Posting: NTT Teaching Positions in American Studies and Ethnicity

The Department of American Studies & Ethnicity, Dana and David Dornsife College of Letters, Arts and Sciences, University of Southern California, in Los Angeles, California, is seeking to hire a part-time or full-time lecturer able to teach American Studies, African American Studies, Asian American Studies and/or Latina/o Studies during the 2016-2017 Academic Year.

American Studies and Ethnicity at USC is looking for an instructor with a PhD to teach AMST 449, Asian American Literature, TTH 11-12:20, in Fall 2016. The course, cross-listed with English, is capped at 30 and is a general introduction to Asian American literature.

The department is interested in scholars from humanities or the social sciences whose work demonstrates an engagement with the fields of American and Ethnic Studies. The scholar must have a Ph.D. in a relevant field of study by the start of this appointment and should be able to demonstrate teaching excellence in the subject area.
