The Arab American Studies Association will be holding its annual members meeting at the Middle East Studies Association conference in Boston this year. In addition to the usual business of the members meeting (updates about the organization, conference planning, networking, etc) the AASA board is taking the opportunity to hold a small reception to honor Elaine Hagopian and her contributions to Arab American studies. We hope you will join us on Thursday, November 17th at MESA at the Copley Marriott, downtown Boston.
The members meeting is at at 6:30 and the reception for Elaine will be at 7:30. All are welcome to attend both.
The reception will include a selection of hors d’oeuvres and water, but please bring your own beverage.
