The Arab American Studies Association will sponsor up to two panels and one professional development panel at the American Studies Association (ASA) and up to three panels at the Middle East Studies Association (MESA) meetings in 2018.
The American Studies Association conference will be held in Atlanta, Georgia, November 8-11 (2018)
and the Middle East Studies Association conference will be held in San Antonio, Texas, November 15-18, 2018.
Please submit a 300-400-word panel summary in addition to individual paper titles and names of presenters.
Deadline for ASA proposals: Friday Jan. 26, 2018 (chosen panels will then submit their proposals and abstracts on ASA’s website by Feb. 1, 2018)
Deadline for MESA proposals: Friday Feb. 9, 2018 (chosen panels will then submit their proposals and abstracts on MESA’s website by February 15, 2018)
