3. Each paper abstract must be between 300 and 400 words and relate to the presented theme.

Description:
Designing curriculum to convey quality information is a dynamic part of our role as scholars in academic and non-academic environments. This panel explores methods and philosophies of teaching and learning about Arab and Diasporic Arab Cultures. We might consider these questions:

What are the teaching philosophies that support effective teaching and learning about Arab and Diasporic Arab Cultures?

Who are part of the multiple audiences we encounter in our classrooms, seminars, and public lectures and by what stances, approaches, and philosophies do we convey information to those audiences?

What are some materials and mediums (books, film, art, podcasts, syllabi, assignments etc.) that are most effective in conveying information to our audiences?

Activists and scholars. How do we navigate these roles?
