Program Features
• Intensive, five-day per week Arabic program through AUC’s Department of Arabic Language Instruction
• Flexible schedule that includes visits to touristic sites in Egypt
• Lectures and presentations about history, culture and politics in Egypt
• Introduction to Egyptian cuisine, art, music and cultural events
• Experiential field visits and activities to enhance Arabic language exposure Accommodation
• Program participants stay in the University Residences at AUC New Cairo
• All meals included Prerequisites
• Minimum completion of sophomore year of high school
• At least 16 years of age
• A minimum score of 155 on the PSAT and grade point average of 3.5
• Two letters of recommendation from high school teachers attesting that the applicant has the maturity needed to join this international program
Fees
• $9,000 for three credits, including cultural/educational trips, accommodation, non-refundable registration fees, visa and health insurance
