MENA Psychological Network Statement to the APA

Dear Colleagues,

The Middle East and North African (MENA) Psychological Network created a statement/open letter to the APA and related psychology organizations. As a member of this network, I am sharing this statement with you so that we can take these perspectives under consideration as APA moves forward together. Note that we are in the process of collecting signatures to support our statement which will demonstrate the need to reach out and provide support for the MENA population. We believe that this population was disproportionally negatively impacted by the recent events documented in the Independent Report. Our hope is that we find a way to reach out to this population and regain trust that may have been lost due to the events documented in the APA Hoffman Report.

We ask that you please take the time to read the statement and  consider signing your name by clicking here:

We hope to gather many signatures to show the importance of this issue for psychologists and graduate students.
